You’re Invited to Attend Our Family Time Celebration!

Every Wednesday Evening  during the summer months, beginning at 7pm.

Why did we create “Family Time Celebration?”

Well we looked around our church and asked, “Are people of every age in our congregation getting the message?  I mean really getting it?  Can they absorb it, take it home and meditate on it, and then share it with others?”

The answer to that question was no and that lead us to offer something that could reach every age, from 5-95.

That’s where Family Time Celebration comes in.

On Wednesday Evenings in the summer, we will begin our services with 1 or 2 upbeat celebratory-style praise and worship songs.  Then we will present a 5-10 minute interactive lesson for both children and adults, so that both can grow together in their faith in a fun and meaningful way.  We will conclude with a short child-friendly prayer and then sing 1 or 2 more praise-and-worship-style songs before we are dismissed to our classes.

But the learning doesn’t stop there. 

You will also find ways to follow-up with the lesson at home in our Wednesday Night bulletin.  You may find yourself eating outside sometime during the week as a family admiring God’s creation or you may be pretending to be David fighting Goliath on the battlefield.  The point is, we want our children involved in our ministry.    We want them to come back each week anticipating what will be in store for them this week! And most importantly, we want them to develop the kind of faith that propels them to share Jesus with others.
